Step 8 -
Angle cut 2x3 furring up the valley leaving a 1” to 2” space between adjacent furring pieces
Step 10 -
Install DCI ValleyVent as shown on each furring strip. This allows the required 9 NFA air flow to get into the spaces without compromising the structure.

Install support shims of 1” RafterVent at inside corner of valley if rafters do not join at that intersection as shown flush with wood fascia
